Well, I finally did it!  With inspiration and encouragement from Leslie Burt and Tanya Grimsley, I decided to throw my hat into the ever-growing ring of activism.  I survived the Vietnam War protests and riots here in the Washington, DC area in the 1960′s.  I have followed current events most of my life and dabbled in activism when I challenged the Virginia Electric Power Company (VEPCO) by informing them of Jimmy Carter’s “wage and price freeze” edict in the late 1970′s.  I initially refused to pay the increase, then acquiesced (under protest) but made my checks out to Very Expensive Power Company for the next 20 years!  Only one check was returned and I felt empowered.

The next two decades were dedicated to raising a family, volunteering at church, the children’s schools and the local volunteer fire department.  I re-entered the fulltime work force in 1988 as a Security Specialist with the Department of Defense.  I was there during Desert Storm and became aware of the growing threat in the Middle East.  Then there was 9/11 and no turning back.

I became politically active in 2008 when I realized what danger our country faced in the ensuing election.  Because of the current administration’s  ideology and blatant disregard of the Constitution and safety of our great nation, I once again feel empowered to take a stand.  I fear we are losing more and more freedom each day and hope to expose those trying to subvert them by educating fellow patriots.

I will have articles, resources and links regarding Islam, Sharia, Agenda 21, Energy Independence and attempts to take away our freedoms of speech, religion and self-defense.  Please bear with me while my site is under construction and I welcome constructive comments and advice!

I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and a grandmother to two wonderful children.  I want to leave them with the same sense of security, freedom and patriotism I had.  I dedicate this site to Naomi and Ian – this is my mission and legacy to them!
