VIDEOS: A 13 Year Old Grades Obama and Romney – Our Future Generation Nails It!

My faith and hope in our country has been renewed!  Meet Jenny Cantrell, a 13-year-old student who held Obama and Romney to the same grading system she and her fellow students are required to meet.  She graded them on the economy, business, Obamcare, energy, national debt, and national security.  Jenny’s youth and inexperience in politics kept her open-minded and analytical.

Her teachers and parents should be proud!  She is our hope!

Excellent job Jenny!  After her stint as ‘Teacher for the Day’ Jenny made a follow-up video regarding the auto bailout, unions, the debates, taxes, redistribution of wealth, and the candidates’ values.  She nailed those too!

Obama’s narcissism a danger to America, and the world

Reblogged from Counter Jihad Report

By

I must confess that, in 2008, I was impressed by Barack Obama. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared confident and was as smooth as a rock star. He commanded the stage and screen. I was really confident that this man, being black and having a possible semi-Muslim upbringing, was the perfect candidate to make lasting peace in the Middle East. I was sure that Israel was going to see a much-needed peace with the Palestinians, and my visits to eat great humus in Tulkarem — a small Palestinian town near Netanya — would one day soon be possible again.

But I was put off very soon after President Obama took office. The first time I began to look more closely at him was when I watched his speech in Cairo. I listened in awe and disbelief, but I thought that this may be a ploy to embrace the Muslim world and develop a mutual respect with the Arabs. Perhaps, I thought, this was a great tactic in showing friendship and commitment to the Muslim masses.

All too soon, my hopes started to fade. As I began watching President Obama’s body language and listened more closely to his tone of voice, I noticed a shallowness and an air of haughtiness that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his words. It stunned me to watch his speeches, which were filled with such “religious” inflection that it struck me in a why it no doubt did for so many others.

I watched and watched and saw how things in this volatile region of heated debate and steady but almost controlled violence started spiraling way out of control. What I thought were going to be U.S. accomplishments in this historic and religious global epicenter turned out to be deadly failures with long-term consequences.

I went back to watch the Cairo speech, watching over and over again, and I noticed that President Obama is really not an ordinary man. Hischaracter is indeed unique in that he has the ability to impress or frustrate. Even though I felt that at times he was quite ignorant to the most important subjects relating to Israel, like the 1967 borders, he never really spoke like a lawyer or politician but rather someone who was out to prove that he was the epicenter and not the problem.

Obama’s language, posture and demeanor seemed wrong to me. This was supposed to be a president who gave hope to so many, who was supposed to implement change in a positive way for all. It was as if President Obama was projecting a grandiose posture that was not his. He looked out of place and suddenly was not the presidential figure representing the free world.

It seemed that he created a sort of personality cult around himself, elevating his admirers blindly, presenting a somewhat false trust of enthusiasm that led followers to believe that no matter what he said in his speeches, he was free to do as he wished, unaccountable at all times. These admirers would follow at any cost, blindly as if in a daze or hypnotized. He promised the moon but delivered doom, and people were missing the real-life threats taking place, unfolding as an optical illusion of a beautiful spring dubbed “the Arab Spring.”

In searching for answers to find out what Obama’s real agenda on Israel was, I became swamped with irrelevant accusations, doctored pictures and cartoons. The mainstream media was promoting Obama, pushing him forward into the sphere that he sought to be. They, too, were blinded. I found an interesting observation by chance when I came across the behavioral patterns of narcissism. This disorder was common in the likes of other world leaders, but more so in dictators and power-seekers, those who wanted control as if it meant everything.

I am by no means a professional psychologist, nor have I ever had any training other than simple body language classes and perhaps a more in-depth profiling education based on the work I carried out as an Israeli police officer. Having said this, I started noticing alarming signs that perhaps indicate a slight narcissistic trend in President Obama. I base this assumption on the president’s speeches and statements, both on and off the record.

Obama’s imposing personality overwhelms those around him. He charms with his charisma. He shapes those around him and reduces others in his own inverted image (as we saw with his snubbing of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu).

I drew from my readings that narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them reach their personal objectives. They are focused on one thing alone, and that is power and control.

All other issues are meaningless to them, and they do not like to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and does not deserve their attention (remember President Obama’s recent comments when he snubbed Netanyahu’s request for action on the Iranian nuclear weapons program?).

Take a look at his attitude while serving in the U.S. Senate. If an issue was raised in the Senate that did not help Obama in one way or another, he had no interest in it. “Present” was a safe vote. No one could criticize him if things went wrong. Those issues were unworthy by their very nature because they were not about him.

A study by a leading psychologist found that Obama’s election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than expected, and at the end, the project evolved into his own autobiography. Instead of a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama it seems could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He titled the book, “Dreams from My Father.”

Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is perhaps evident from Obama’s lack of interest in his own brother, who lives in poverty. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii and who raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because his brother cannot be used in his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.

There is no doubt this election has been like no other in the history of America. The main issues are really insignificant compared to what is at stake in the form of lives being spared and countries disappearing and, yes, the global economy. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality, as the leader of the free world?

Five reasons Barack Obama should not be re-elected as President!

Janet Porter is a former Romney critic who now endorses Governor Romney for President.  She gives some very compelling reasons for her conversion.  In the past few weeks I have met several concerned voters who are switching sides this election season.  The other day I was working at our local Romney Victory Headquarters and a woman came in and asked for a Voter Registration application.  She is 51 years old and has never voted before but, like many other concerned citizens, feels this election is too important to be passive.  I am so proud of those who are putting their country before their parties and realizing the financial and security dangers we face.

Ms. Porter discusses the Obama administration’s record on life, marriage, Israel, freedom and most importantly, America:

How I wish our Anti-American President had the cojones to defend America the way Herman Cain does!  He is a perfect example of American Exceptionalism – his determination and dedication exemplifies what can be accomplished by those who are willing to work!   I have no doubt Mitt Romney will bring pride and patriotism back to the USA, and I hope he finds a place in his cabinet for this proud, dedicated man.

I hope we see some of Herman Cain in Mitt Romney in tonight’s debate!!!

ALLEN WEST: Black Americans should vote for Mitt Romney

Illustration Obama Crushes by Alexander Hunter for The Washington Times

I am always amazed when Black Americans vote Democrat because ‘they have always been Democrats’.  Why?  Wasn’t Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. a Republican?  I applaud the growing number of Black Conservatives and the values they represent.  For another take on this mindset please read the following article by Rep. Allen B. West via The Washington Times.  He considers Obama’s hand-outs a form of slavery.

America is no doubt the greatest country the world has ever known. Our citizens have the opportunity to be anything they want to be, worship as they please and live as they please. We are truly free.

Still, Americans are suffering. They have lost their jobs, they have lost their home, and in many situations, they have lost hope.

For the black community, the situation is even more dire.

Black unemployment hovers around 14 percent, compared to 8 percent unemployment overall. For black teenagers, the number more than doubles, as 38 percent of black teens are unemployed.

It is not just the undereducated black Americans who are suffering — 6.6 percent of black Americans with at least a bachelor’s degree are unemployed, a rate 50 percent higher than the overall unemployment rate for those with a four-year college degree.

Since 2007, black median household income has declined by 11 percent — the largest decline of all major racial and ethnic groups.

In 2011, the poverty rate among black Americans was 27.5 percent. The poverty rate among blacks living in families headed by women is 41 percent.

President Obama’s programs continue to pour billions into black communities across the country in hopes of curing well-documented socioeconomic problems, including failing schools and inadequate housing, rampant crime and drug abuse, black-on-black killings, unemployment and more. Still, despite the courageous efforts of many local institutions, agencies, school leaders, grass-roots organizations and community residents, the problems remain, and in many places have become worse.

It will take new ideas and new voices to find solutions. It will take a president who is committed to policies of economic freedom as opposed to economic dependency. Mitt Romney’s belief in basic conservative principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual industry leading to self-sufficiency and his beliefs about equality of opportunity will revitalize the black community. Mr. Romney’s policies would enable urban people to empower themselves and, ultimately, become self-sufficient.

When it comes to education, black children are 17 percent of students nationwide, but they are 42 percent of the students in our worst-performing schools. Mr. Romney supports empowering parents of at-risk students in the inner cities to escape failing schools by allowing federal dollars to follow children to the school of their choice.

Many black-owned businesses struggle to gain access to capital that would enable expansion or fund operating costs. Sixty percent of startups are in the white community. Compare that with just 9 percent of startups coming from the black community.

Mr. Romney will reform regulatory policies that can help black-owned businesses increase and thrive. He will reform Dodd-Frank and allow more money to be accessible to responsible black community banks so they can get money into the hands of responsible black entrepreneurs. Lower capital gains taxes and dividends also will incentivize growth in the black community.

Mr. Romney also plans to revisit the concept of urban economic zones, an idea from the late congressman and HUD Secretary Jack Kemp and Reagan economist Art Laffer. Enterprise zones are geographic areas of high unemployment that qualify for special tax breaks.

What Mr. Romney understands is that communities are best served when they’re empowered to care for themselves. The more they come to rely on government checks, the less they learn to rely on their own ability and ingenuity. As my mother always told me, “Self-esteem comes from doing estimable things.”

Conversely, Mr. Obama’s appetite for ever-increasing redistributionary handouts is the most insidious form of slavery remaining in the world today and does not promote economic freedom.

Still, it is easier to convince people that government should be doing something for them that it currently isn’t doing than to convince them that government shouldn’t be doing something for them that it currently is.

More than 95 percent of black voters voted Democratic in the last election. I am hoping we can change this status quo. When you invest your money, you diversify. You don’t put it in one single account. Black Americans need to invest their political capital so they have a voice across the entire political spectrum. If we don’t, the black community will be taken for granted and risk becoming politically irrelevant.

A recent poll showed the percentage of black Americans who have a “strongly positive” view of Mr. Obama has slipped from 83 percent to 58 percent. Those numbers show black Americans are paying attention, and they don’t like what they see.

I grew up in inner-city Atlanta, and I can tell you the most conservative people I know are my neighbors in the black community. It isn’t just in Atlanta. Thirty-three percent of Americans in the black community self-identify as conservatives. They are anti-abortion, and they believe marriage should be between a man and a woman.

Black Americans need to vote their values in November, and they will find themselves more aligned with Mr. Romney and the Republican Party. It is time for the “Party of Lincoln” to re-connect with black America.

Thomas Sowell: ‘Barack Obama is worse than Jimmy Carter’

I think Thomas Sowell is one of the smartest men in the world!  Watch his interview with Neil Cavuto and read the following from  via the Daily Caller.

Some conservatives will readily admit that Republican presidential nominee  Mitt Romney has his share of flaws as a candidate. But he is still much more  preferable than the alternative, President Barack Obama, according to Hoover  Institution scholar-in-residence Thomas Sowell.

“I don’t think Mitt Romney is going to be sparking riots against the American  embassies around the world,” Sowell, the author of “Intellectuals and Society: Revised and Expanded  Edition,” said said in an appearance on Fox Business Network’s “Cavuto” on Thursday. “[I]t’s not a question of whether they love you or not. The  question is whether they respect you. You know, I’m sure the Iranians did not  love Ronald Reagan.  But the fact is they’ve made it their business to get  those hostages loose before Ronald Reagan took the oath of office — in fact,  hours before Ronald Reagan took the oath of office.”

Responding to Romney’s much-publicized 47-percent remarks about those living  off the government last week, Sowell said you want to make that point with your  policy proposals and not necessarily just rhetoric, as Reagan managed to in the  1980s.

“Undoubtedly, I think that’s one of the reasons they don’t come out and say  what they want to say,” Sowell said. “I don’t think there’s anything callous  about wanting able-bodied men to work. You know, what I think is truly callous  is having a system and a set of policies that, in fact, hurts the poor.  I  mean, most — you mentioned Reagan. Now, I came across an old real copy of The  New York Times, which had the front page headlines that the black-white income  difference had narrowed slightly during the 1980s. Now, that’s the Reagan  administration.  More recently, the black-white income difference has  widened greatly under Barack Obama. And yet, Reagan is never regarded as being  someone who’s for the poor or for what not. And Obama is.”

“So the real question is not what is — how does he talk, how does he come  across,” Sowell continued. “The question is what do his policies do to people?  And I think, for example, minimum wages — I was shocked to hear Romney say he’d  be for it. Minimum wages have done enormous damage to young blacks. If you back  to the mid-1940s, the unemployment rate among black teenagers was a fraction of  what it is has been — it was a fraction in 1949, which was a recession year, of  what it has been and even in the most prosperous years since then.”

“And the difference was that in 1949, the minimum wage law had not been  upgraded since 1938. So for all practical purposes, it had been destroyed by  inflation. Once you start reinstating the minimum wage with increases, then you  begin to get to 20, 30, 40 percent unemployment rate among black teenagers. But  in the late 40s, there were years when a black 16-year-olds had unemployment  rates under 10 percent.  Now, the question is not whether you’re  empathizing or not. The question is whether your policies are ruining  people.”

Cavuto later asked Sowell if he thought Obama is like Reagan’s 1980 opponent,  little-loved former President Jimmy Carter.

“I think Barack Obama is worse than Jimmy Carter,” Sowell said. “Carter had  many foolish policies internationally as well as domestically. But I think Obama  has outdone him in both respects.”

DNC delegates want to ban or cap profits – Are you listening Hollywood?!? (Video)

As usual, if you want to appear smart at a Democratic convention, just ask a stupid question.  When radio personality Peter Schiff went to Charlotte for the DNC, he did just that. Posing as an anti-business crusader, Schiff found a number of DNC delegates and attendees who support explicitly outlawing profitability.  I would have loved for him to ask these same zombies if they would also support a cap on the salaries of Hollywood actors, recording artists, and sports figures.

Or how much money Hollywood moguls and team owners can earn.  If so, Eva Longoria, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Bridges, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant might be singing a different tune and Hollywood might not be so liberal!  There is enough Capitalism in Hollywood and the sports world that the Marxist agenda may meet with some strong opposition.

What these brainiacs haven’t figured out yet is the ‘simple’ formula the IRS uses – the more you make, the more you pay in taxes!

If you want to know how 1%er Will Smith feels about paying higher taxes, watch this interview:

Even the top 1% draw the line somewhere! Again, if you limit what they make, you limit the amount they pay in taxes – it’s the economy stupid!

New York Times Proves Clint Eastwood Correct — Obama Is Lousy CEO (But World Class Narcissist)

Either you loved Clint Eastwood’s speech or you didn’t, but one thing you cannot argue is his belief that if someone is doing a lousy job you need to let him go.  Sports teams do it, businesses do it, even some educational institutions do it.  Now the voters need to fire the inept and unqualified.  I don’t care how likeable someone is or how smart they (think they) are, if they are failing they must go.  However, I don’t think our Narcissist in Chief will acknowledge his failures – he hates to lose – and he will not go down without a nasty fight.  I think the following article is a great insight into the world of our man-child president.

By Rich Karlgaard via Forbes

A Sunday New York Times front page story — New York Times! — might have killed President Obama’s re-election hopes.

The story is called “The Competitor in Chief — Obama Plays To Win, In Politics and Everything Else.” It is devastating.

With such a title, and from such a friendly organ, at first I thought Jodi Kantor’s piece would be a collection of Obama’s greatest political wins: His rapid rise in Illinois, his win over Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primaries, the passage of health care, and so on.

But the NYT piece is not about any of that. Rather, it is a deep look into the two outstanding flaws in Obama’s executive leadership:

1. How he vastly overrates his capabilities:

But even those loyal to Mr. Obama say that his quest for excellence can bleed into cockiness and that he tends to overestimate his capabilities. The cloistered nature of the White House amplifies those tendencies, said Matthew Dowd, a former adviser to President George W. Bush, adding that the same thing happened to his former boss. “There’s a reinforcing quality,” he said, a tendency for presidents to think, I’m the best at this.

2. How he spends extraordinary amounts of time and energy to compete in — trivialities.

For someone dealing with the world’s weightiest matters, Mr. Obama spends surprising energy perfecting even less consequential pursuits. He has played golf 104 times since becoming president, according to Mark Knoller of CBS News, who monitors his outings, and he asks superior players for tips that have helped lower his scores. He decompresses with card games on Air Force One, but players who do not concentrate risk a reprimand (“You’re not playing, you’re just gambling,” he once told Arun Chaudhary, his former videographer).

His idea of birthday relaxation is competing in an Olympic-style athletic tournament with friends, keeping close score. The 2009 version ended with a bowling event. Guess who won, despite his history of embarrassingly low scores? The president, it turned out, had been practicing in the White House alley.

Kantor’s piece is full of examples of Obama’s odd need to dominate his peers in everything from bowling, cards, golf, basketball, and golf (104 times in his presidency). Bear in mind, Obama doesn’t just robustly compete. The leader of the free world spends many hours practicing these trivial pursuits behind the scenes. Combine this weirdly wasted time with a consistent overestimation of his capabilities, and the result is, according to NYT’s Kantor:

He may not always be as good at everything as he thinks, including politics. While Mr. Obama has given himself high grades for his tenure in the White House — including a “solid B-plus” for his first year — many voters don’t agree, citing everything from his handling of the economy to his unfulfilled pledge that he would be able to unite Washington to his claim that he would achieve Israeli-Palestinian peace.

Those were not the only times Mr. Obama may have overestimated himself: he has also had a habit of warning new hires that he would be able to do their jobs better than they could.

“I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,” Mr. Obama told Patrick Gaspard, his political director, at the start of the 2008 campaign, according to The New Yorker. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m going to think I’m a better political director than my political director.”

Though he never ran a large organization before becoming president, he initially dismissed internal concerns about management and ended up with a factionalized White House and a fuzzier decision-making process than many top aides wanted.

Kantor’s portrait of Obama is stunning. It paints a picture of a CEO who is unfocused and lost.

Imagine, for a minute, that you are on the board of directors of a company. You have a CEO who is not meeting his numbers and who is suffering a declining popularity with his customers. You want to help this CEO recover, but then you learn he doesn’t want your help. He is smarter than you and eager to tell you this. Confidence or misplaced arrogance? You’re not sure at first. If the company was performing well, you’d ignore it. But the company is performing poorly, so you can’t.
