MSNBC abandons GOP convention during every speech by a minority (And Chris Matthews calls RNC racist?)

By  via The Daily Caller

One of the left’s favorite attacks on the Republican Party is  that it is the party of old white people, devoid of diversity and probably  racist.

If you were watching MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention  in Tampa on Tuesday night, you might believe those assertions, since missing  from the coverage was nearly every ethnic minority that spoke during Tuesday’s  festivities.

In lieu of airing speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black  American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives  from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted  to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz,  Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt.

Throughout this convention, Matthews has  accused the Republicans of playing dog-whistle racist politics while on  scene in Tampa. It isn’t clear, however, if Matthews will hurl accusations of  racism at Davis, Love or Cruz for speeches his network failed to broadcast.

Collection of Videos of Paul Ryan Taking on DWS, Geithner, Medicare, Obamacare, National Debt

A collection of videos showing Congressman Paul Ryan taking on the likes of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Timothy Geithner, Austan Goolsbee, MSNBC and Chris Matthews.  In my previous post, Paul Ryan Schools Obama on Obamacare and Economics in Six Minutes (Video), he took on President Obama.  I think the man will be able to more than hold his own with Joe Biden in future debates and will be terrific as our next Vice President!

Great debate with Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on Social Security reform – Ryan wanted an ‘adult’ conversation:

‘I am JUST a Blogger’ – Michelle Malkin responds to Juan Williams Slapdown!

Don’t you just love the way the elite liberal media love putting down anyone and everyone who differ with their ideology?  ‘Fox News isn’t journalism’, ‘Andrew Breitbart does hit pieces’ and ‘Michele Malkin is JUST a blogger on the blogosphere’.  They attack reputable journalists and Fox News contributors but hold in high regard the likes of Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Ed Schultz.  And let us not forget their previously esteemed (and now shamed) colleague, Dan Rather, who produced falsified documents to smear President George W. Bush.

From Erica Ritz via The Blaze:

Following her tense segment on Hannity with Juan Williams this week, where she was insulted as just a “blogger on the blogosphere” and “not a real journalist,“ Michelle Malkin is firing back at the ”snotty condescension from liberal elite journalists” like Williams.

At the “Right Online” convention this weekend, Malkin began her speech, “My name is Michelle Malkin and I am just a blogger,” to roars of applause.

She continued: “You’re blogging in your spare time when these ‘real reporters’ can‘t do their jobs when they’re on the clock!  ‘Just a blogger…’  I want it on a t-shirt.”

Watch her entire speech below, via Right Online:

A few quotes from the speech include:

“Journalism is not something you are, it’s something you do.

“There are real reporters who won‘t even say the name ’Brett Kimberlin’ out of fear…The kind of harassment that I’ve gone through over the past twenty years pales in comparison to what these individuals bloggers [have gone through]…and we owe them so much for standing up, for telling the truth.  Thank them, get their backs.”

“A lot of progressives…always ask me, ‘Why are you so mad?’  Why the hell shouldn’t I be mad?  You’re trying to flush our country down the toilet!  I‘m not going to tell you that you’re a nice person.  And I think we need more people in Washington…not to concede that these people are ‘nice’ people.”

“Once you un-mask the Occupy movement, the next step is taking the future generation of wealth-creators and job-creators in this country and immunizing them against the progressive virus.  So we can‘t wait until they’re in college…”

“We fight for our freedom, for our faith, and for our families, and that’s what distinguishes us from these miserable enemies…You know, if I had to be the crusader and a cheerleader for a culture of dependency and entitlement, and coercion, and a massive welfare state that crushed religious liberty, and individual liberty, and the free market, and innovation– I’d be pretty darn miserable, too.”
