“If Obama wins, this could very well be our last free election!”

By Kasey Jachim

I have been active in our local Republican and Tea Party groups since 2008.  I currently volunteer at the local Romney Victory Office and have had an opportunity to meet some wonderful Patriots.  One thing I have noticed in the past few weeks is the fact that the Obama campaign is not getting the message!

Recently a young voter, who just turned 18, came in for signs and stickers.  He is so excited and enthusiastic about his ‘first time’ and is proud to be voting for Mitt Romney.  He is spreading the word around his community college and hopes to encourage other young conservatives to vote.

Another young voter, who is a recent college graduate looking for full-time employment, recently expressed her concern about the economy and lack of jobs for those entering the workforce.  She said she could afford her own birth-control if she had a decent full-time job, she didn’t need the government in her business.

A woman recently came in asking for a voter registration form.  She is 51 years old and will be voting for the ‘first time’ in her life.  She said this election is the most important in our lifetime and she is afraid for herself, her family and our country.

A lovely lady about 80 years young came in for some yard signs and expressed her concern over the administration’s ignorance regarding seniors.  She wondered ‘just how stupid Obama thinks seniors are.’  She said she was deeply concerned about the economy and the debt we are leaving our grandchildren much more than she was concerned about Medicare and Social Security.  I know that is why I am volunteering and writing this blog – not for me but for my innocent grandchildren who have no voice.

A gentleman came in to pick up Absentee Ballots for his grandparents who were too ill to go to the polls.  He said “Granny was upset that she might not be able to vote” so he was making sure she could and that her voice would be heard.

Several of us discussed how often people have mentioned prayer and how important and powerful it can be.  One of the volunteers said God gave us Obama to wake us up and may now be ready to help us.  I know I pray daily!

Finally, I met a gentleman who was visibly shaking and was so distraught over the thoughts of another four years of Obama he had tears in his eyes.  Several of us began reminiscing about our younger years of Memorial Day Parades, prayer in school, pride in America and all things made in America.  We then compared them to the current day destruction of America and all things made in America. The gentleman then looked at all of us and said, “I am afraid if Obama wins, this could very well be our last free election.”

After the chills subsided, I began another silent prayer.

Please reach out to those who may need assistance getting to the polls and encourage everyone you know to pray and to vote as if their life depended on it – because it just might.

“Voices Without A Vote” – Powerful Video By a Group of Young Americans Who Have No Vote

These young people realize that if they don’t stand up and speak out for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness today, they will be living in a very different America tomorrow.  They are pleading with those who can vote in November to elect leaders who defend the U.S. Constitution and govern according to its principles.

This is a must-watch video for all voters.  Many young Americans are concerned about the path we are on and are unable to vote to restore their country to the Constitutional values they uphold.  As I have said before, I am retired but will not give up the fight for my grandchildren who have no voice, no vote.  They deserve much better than they are getting and so do we.  We owe it to our future generations, our future leaders, if there is anything left for them to lead.  Please watch, listen and vote for their future, if not yours!

We need to preserve our freedoms for them, please vote your conscience and save our country for them.  The teenagers who speak in this video belong to http://www.im2moro.org.

Herman Cain Teaching America-Bashing College Hecklers a Lesson in American Exceptionalism

How I wish our Anti-American President had the cojones to defend America the way Herman Cain does!  He is a perfect example of American Exceptionalism – his determination and dedication exemplifies what can be accomplished by those who are willing to work!   I have no doubt Mitt Romney will bring pride and patriotism back to the USA, and I hope he finds a place in his cabinet for this proud, dedicated man.

I hope we see some of Herman Cain in Mitt Romney in tonight’s debate!!!

ALLEN WEST: Black Americans should vote for Mitt Romney

Illustration Obama Crushes by Alexander Hunter for The Washington Times

I am always amazed when Black Americans vote Democrat because ‘they have always been Democrats’.  Why?  Wasn’t Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. a Republican?  I applaud the growing number of Black Conservatives and the values they represent.  For another take on this mindset please read the following article by Rep. Allen B. West via The Washington Times.  He considers Obama’s hand-outs a form of slavery.

America is no doubt the greatest country the world has ever known. Our citizens have the opportunity to be anything they want to be, worship as they please and live as they please. We are truly free.

Still, Americans are suffering. They have lost their jobs, they have lost their home, and in many situations, they have lost hope.

For the black community, the situation is even more dire.

Black unemployment hovers around 14 percent, compared to 8 percent unemployment overall. For black teenagers, the number more than doubles, as 38 percent of black teens are unemployed.

It is not just the undereducated black Americans who are suffering — 6.6 percent of black Americans with at least a bachelor’s degree are unemployed, a rate 50 percent higher than the overall unemployment rate for those with a four-year college degree.

Since 2007, black median household income has declined by 11 percent — the largest decline of all major racial and ethnic groups.

In 2011, the poverty rate among black Americans was 27.5 percent. The poverty rate among blacks living in families headed by women is 41 percent.

President Obama’s programs continue to pour billions into black communities across the country in hopes of curing well-documented socioeconomic problems, including failing schools and inadequate housing, rampant crime and drug abuse, black-on-black killings, unemployment and more. Still, despite the courageous efforts of many local institutions, agencies, school leaders, grass-roots organizations and community residents, the problems remain, and in many places have become worse.

It will take new ideas and new voices to find solutions. It will take a president who is committed to policies of economic freedom as opposed to economic dependency. Mitt Romney’s belief in basic conservative principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual industry leading to self-sufficiency and his beliefs about equality of opportunity will revitalize the black community. Mr. Romney’s policies would enable urban people to empower themselves and, ultimately, become self-sufficient.

When it comes to education, black children are 17 percent of students nationwide, but they are 42 percent of the students in our worst-performing schools. Mr. Romney supports empowering parents of at-risk students in the inner cities to escape failing schools by allowing federal dollars to follow children to the school of their choice.

Many black-owned businesses struggle to gain access to capital that would enable expansion or fund operating costs. Sixty percent of startups are in the white community. Compare that with just 9 percent of startups coming from the black community.

Mr. Romney will reform regulatory policies that can help black-owned businesses increase and thrive. He will reform Dodd-Frank and allow more money to be accessible to responsible black community banks so they can get money into the hands of responsible black entrepreneurs. Lower capital gains taxes and dividends also will incentivize growth in the black community.

Mr. Romney also plans to revisit the concept of urban economic zones, an idea from the late congressman and HUD Secretary Jack Kemp and Reagan economist Art Laffer. Enterprise zones are geographic areas of high unemployment that qualify for special tax breaks.

What Mr. Romney understands is that communities are best served when they’re empowered to care for themselves. The more they come to rely on government checks, the less they learn to rely on their own ability and ingenuity. As my mother always told me, “Self-esteem comes from doing estimable things.”

Conversely, Mr. Obama’s appetite for ever-increasing redistributionary handouts is the most insidious form of slavery remaining in the world today and does not promote economic freedom.

Still, it is easier to convince people that government should be doing something for them that it currently isn’t doing than to convince them that government shouldn’t be doing something for them that it currently is.

More than 95 percent of black voters voted Democratic in the last election. I am hoping we can change this status quo. When you invest your money, you diversify. You don’t put it in one single account. Black Americans need to invest their political capital so they have a voice across the entire political spectrum. If we don’t, the black community will be taken for granted and risk becoming politically irrelevant.

A recent poll showed the percentage of black Americans who have a “strongly positive” view of Mr. Obama has slipped from 83 percent to 58 percent. Those numbers show black Americans are paying attention, and they don’t like what they see.

I grew up in inner-city Atlanta, and I can tell you the most conservative people I know are my neighbors in the black community. It isn’t just in Atlanta. Thirty-three percent of Americans in the black community self-identify as conservatives. They are anti-abortion, and they believe marriage should be between a man and a woman.

Black Americans need to vote their values in November, and they will find themselves more aligned with Mr. Romney and the Republican Party. It is time for the “Party of Lincoln” to re-connect with black America.

CNN’s Don Lemon Skewers Wasserman Schultz on DNC’s ‘Accidental’ Omission of God and Jerusalem

The queen of lies has a tough time trying to wiggle out of CNN’s Don Lemon’s continued pressure to answer questions about her outright lies regarding The Examiner’s Phillip Klein interview and the DNC’s ‘accidental’ omission of God and Jerusalem from their platform.

When her candor was questioned, DWS answered “I have never been accused of being anything less than candid.”  That may be true Debbie, but you HAVE been accused of being less than truthful!

The Democrats must be soooooo proud of DWS and their God-booing abortionfest.  The Republicans had Clint Eastwood and an empty chair, the Democrats had Sandra Fluke and an empty head.  Yeah, I’d be proud of that record too Debbie!

NM Governor Susanna Martinez: “I’ll be damned, we’re Republicans”

New Mexico Governor Susanna Martinez:  “I was a Democrat for many years.  So were my parents.”  One day she and her husband were at lunch with some Republicans.  They never talked about being Republican or Democrat or even Conservative or Liberal.  They talked about many issues like welfare, taxes, and size of government.  When they left that lunch, she turned to her husband and said, “I’ll be damned, we’re Republicans”!

Governor Martinez is the first female Hispanic governor of the United States.  And she gets it!  I think if more people would really look at where they stand on the issues, they will find, like Governor Martinez, they are Republicans.  I think many liberals, especially African-Americans, think they have to vote Democrat because they have always voted Democrat.  What about Republican Martin Luther King Jr.?  What about John F. Kennedy who once proclaimed, “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country”?  Current Democrats are just the opposite – they think the government is the answer and provider to all.

I loved her speech – especially “President Obama has added 5 trillion dollars to the national debt, and he DID build that!”

I am so proud of our young new stars and really believe there is hope for our country!

Juan Williams Calls Ann Romney a ‘Corporate Wife’ (dog whistles can be heard)

“Corporate Wife” isn’t racist; but “Food Stamp President” is???

(CNSNews.com) – As part of its Tuesday night convention coverage, Fox News assembled a panel of political analysts to discuss Ann Romney’s speech. Charles Krauthammer called it a “triumph,” and Brit Hume said it was “the single most effective political speech I’ve ever heard given by a political wife.”

But their fellow panelist Juan Williams — a Democrat — panned Mrs. Romney’s effort to connect with women, describing her as a “corporate wife” whose claim to understand the struggles of American women fell flat.

Ann Romney

“Ann Romney … looked to me like a corporate wife. The stories she told about struggles — eh! It’s hard for me to believe. I mean, she’s a very rich woman, and I know that, and America knows that.”

Pressed by Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly to explain what he meant, Williams said, “What does it mean?…
