Are You Voting for Revenge or for Love of Country? (Videos)

By Kasey Jachim

I am sure most of you have seen Obama’s latest campaign hate speech. Instead of listing his accomplishments (ummmm, Obamacare and doubling the national debt), he chose to tear into Mitt Romney.  His disregard for civility regarding Romney, Conservatives, Congress, the Constitution, and even voters never ceases to amaze me.  Obama recently asked his supporters to help him win another term by voting.  Not just to vote for him, but to seek revenge by voting against the evil Republican.  “Voting is the best Revenge” is his latest mantra.

In contrast to this petulant, narcissistic, finger-pointing, Bush-blaming man-child, Governor Romney gave supporters a positive list of his past accomplishments in business, the Olympics, and as Governor of a Democratic state.  He laid out his plans and even said he would begin day one by accepting responsibility and not blaming his predecessor!  Rather than counter Obama’s whiney appeal with another negative message, Mitt Romney is asking voters to “Vote for Love of Country” not revenge!

The following ad contrasts the main differences between the two men:

Which man would you rather vote for? I know who I want – the man with a positive message who will cross the aisle and bring America back to the standard of excellence we are used to!  The man who is actually PROUD of America – Mitt Romney.  Pray and vote – I can see him in the White House from my back yard!

New Romney ad: Believe in the America YOU built! (Video)

The Romney campaign rarely misses an opportunity to use the President’s own words against him.  The following ad is no exception:

According to Ed Morrissey via Hot Air:

Officially, the ad is titled “Believe in Our Future,” but that’s not the phrase that sticks with the viewer, nor is it intended to be.   The big takeaway is “Believe in the America you built” — a direct poke at Barack Obama’s “you didn’t build that” argument earlier this month in Roanoke, Virginia.  Team Romney has moved from taking Obama to task for this belief to adopting the rebuttal as a major campaign theme.  In 2008, the McCain campaign didn’t have the time or resources to take advantage of the Obama stumble with Joe the Plumber, but Romney has plenty of both to make himself Bob the Builder in 2012.

Mitt Romney is finally being seen as warm and genuine instead of the cold corporate CEO the Obama campaign painted him to be.  He is showing voters that he is a capable leader with solutions instead of rhetoric.  Let’s hope it is not too late for the undecided voters.

Five reasons Barack Obama should not be re-elected as President!

Janet Porter is a former Romney critic who now endorses Governor Romney for President.  She gives some very compelling reasons for her conversion.  In the past few weeks I have met several concerned voters who are switching sides this election season.  The other day I was working at our local Romney Victory Headquarters and a woman came in and asked for a Voter Registration application.  She is 51 years old and has never voted before but, like many other concerned citizens, feels this election is too important to be passive.  I am so proud of those who are putting their country before their parties and realizing the financial and security dangers we face.

Ms. Porter discusses the Obama administration’s record on life, marriage, Israel, freedom and most importantly, America:

Please do your part in getting out the word and the vote – your country and freedom depends on it!

Mitt Romney’s Foreign Policy Speech – How a President SHOULD Sound! (Video)

After four years of watching and listening to a President who has done nothing but apologize to our enemies for our exceptionalism, future President Mitt Romney nailed it!  And he gets it!  “Unfortunately, this President’s policies have not been equal to our best examples of world leadership. And nowhere is this more evident than in the
Middle East.”  Listen to how a real President should and will sound:

Romney has laid out his plans for the United States, our allies and our enemies. Not only will he NOT lead from behind, he will lead by strength.  Romney repeated his initial comment that the violent attacks on our embassies and personnel, including the murder of Ambassador Stevens, was not due to a reprehensible video insulting Islam, despite the Administration’s attempts to convince us of that for so long.  “No, as the administration has finally conceded, these attacks were the deliberate work of terrorists who use violence to impose their dark ideology on others, especially women and girls; who are fighting to control much of the Middle East today; and who seek to wage perpetual war on the West.”   Unlike the Obama administration he actually used the term “extremists.”

“I want to be very clear: The blame for the murder of our people in Libya, and
the attacks on our embassies in so many other countries, lies solely with those
who carried them out—no one else. But it is the responsibility of our President
to use America’s great power to shape history—not to lead from behind, leaving
our destiny at the mercy of events …. Al-Qaeda remains a strong force in Yemen and Somalia, in Libya and other parts of North Africa, in Iraq, and now in Syria. And other extremists have gained ground across the region.”

As Romney said, hope is not strategy and he gets it. It is time for a real leader, a real Commander-in-Chief, and a real President – one who will serve and protect America, not our enemies.

Obama’s Lead Among ‘Catholic’ Voters Grows – Church Video Shows why this is so Wrong!

I mentioned the following poll to my priest after Mass last evening.  He thought the numbers reflect a lack of good shepherding. He did not think they applied to our parish but those in more urban areas.  I think Father is a very good shepherd but I had to disagree.  These ‘Catholics’ who support our baby-killing president ARE in our parish.  I know them.  They live in my neighborhood.  ‘You can’t be Catholic and Democrat’ – has never rung more true than it does today. Cafeteria Catholics pick and choose their values, but true Catholics will always value the sanctity of life and marriage.  I hope this poll, like many others, is skewed to favor the Obama team.  Please watch the following video BEFORE you vote!

According to Terence P. Jeffrey via CNSNews:

President Barack Obama has climbed from trailing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney by 4 points among Catholic voters in the weeks leading up to the Republican National Convention to currently leading Romney by six points among Catholic voters, according to the Gallup tracking poll.

Each week, Gallup releases a demographic breakdown of the support for the two major presidential candidates based on its previous three weeks of polling. In latest three week period (which ended on Sept. 23), Gallup surveyed 9,899 registered voters, including 2,148 who said they were Catholic.

Over that three week period, Obama led Romney 50 percent to 44 percent among Catholics. (Obama also leads Romney by 50 percent to 44 percent in the latest seven-day period in Gallup’s overall tracking poll of the presidential race.)

By contrast, in three consecutive three-week periods that ended in August (those that concluded on Aug. 12, Aug. 19 and Aug. 26), Romney led Obama 48 percent to 44 percent among Catholics.

The hurricane-delayed Republican National Convention started in Tampa, Fla., on Tuesday, Aug. 28. Since that convention, Romney’s support has eroded among Catholics as Obama’s has grown.

In the three week period that ended on Sept. 2 (which included the week of the Republican convention), Romney’s led Obama among Catholic registered 47 percent to 45 percent. In the three week period that ended on Sept. 9 (which included the week of the Democratic convention), Obama took a lead over Romney among Catholics, 47 percent to 45 percent. In the three-week period that ended on Sept. 16, Obama’s lead over Romney among Catholics grew to 49 percent to 44 percent. In the most recent three-week period, which ended on Sept. 23, Obama’s lead among Catholics grew to 50 percent to 44 percent.

I am not sure what has happened in recent weeks, but my Catholic friends need to wake up and take a moral stand, not just a political one.  The President is now forcing Catholic institutions to provide contraceptives and abortion pills to their employees. By violating the ‘Separation of Church and State’ as provided in the Constitution he has opened himself up to criticism and vetting by the Catholic Church. They have produced a powerful video on why Obama should not be re-elected!  PLEASE watch it and then tell me how any Christian could, in good conscience, vote for someone who devalues the sanctity of life and marriage.

ALLEN WEST: Black Americans should vote for Mitt Romney

Illustration Obama Crushes by Alexander Hunter for The Washington Times

I am always amazed when Black Americans vote Democrat because ‘they have always been Democrats’.  Why?  Wasn’t Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. a Republican?  I applaud the growing number of Black Conservatives and the values they represent.  For another take on this mindset please read the following article by Rep. Allen B. West via The Washington Times.  He considers Obama’s hand-outs a form of slavery.

America is no doubt the greatest country the world has ever known. Our citizens have the opportunity to be anything they want to be, worship as they please and live as they please. We are truly free.

Still, Americans are suffering. They have lost their jobs, they have lost their home, and in many situations, they have lost hope.

For the black community, the situation is even more dire.

Black unemployment hovers around 14 percent, compared to 8 percent unemployment overall. For black teenagers, the number more than doubles, as 38 percent of black teens are unemployed.

It is not just the undereducated black Americans who are suffering — 6.6 percent of black Americans with at least a bachelor’s degree are unemployed, a rate 50 percent higher than the overall unemployment rate for those with a four-year college degree.

Since 2007, black median household income has declined by 11 percent — the largest decline of all major racial and ethnic groups.

In 2011, the poverty rate among black Americans was 27.5 percent. The poverty rate among blacks living in families headed by women is 41 percent.

President Obama’s programs continue to pour billions into black communities across the country in hopes of curing well-documented socioeconomic problems, including failing schools and inadequate housing, rampant crime and drug abuse, black-on-black killings, unemployment and more. Still, despite the courageous efforts of many local institutions, agencies, school leaders, grass-roots organizations and community residents, the problems remain, and in many places have become worse.

It will take new ideas and new voices to find solutions. It will take a president who is committed to policies of economic freedom as opposed to economic dependency. Mitt Romney’s belief in basic conservative principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual industry leading to self-sufficiency and his beliefs about equality of opportunity will revitalize the black community. Mr. Romney’s policies would enable urban people to empower themselves and, ultimately, become self-sufficient.

When it comes to education, black children are 17 percent of students nationwide, but they are 42 percent of the students in our worst-performing schools. Mr. Romney supports empowering parents of at-risk students in the inner cities to escape failing schools by allowing federal dollars to follow children to the school of their choice.

Many black-owned businesses struggle to gain access to capital that would enable expansion or fund operating costs. Sixty percent of startups are in the white community. Compare that with just 9 percent of startups coming from the black community.

Mr. Romney will reform regulatory policies that can help black-owned businesses increase and thrive. He will reform Dodd-Frank and allow more money to be accessible to responsible black community banks so they can get money into the hands of responsible black entrepreneurs. Lower capital gains taxes and dividends also will incentivize growth in the black community.

Mr. Romney also plans to revisit the concept of urban economic zones, an idea from the late congressman and HUD Secretary Jack Kemp and Reagan economist Art Laffer. Enterprise zones are geographic areas of high unemployment that qualify for special tax breaks.

What Mr. Romney understands is that communities are best served when they’re empowered to care for themselves. The more they come to rely on government checks, the less they learn to rely on their own ability and ingenuity. As my mother always told me, “Self-esteem comes from doing estimable things.”

Conversely, Mr. Obama’s appetite for ever-increasing redistributionary handouts is the most insidious form of slavery remaining in the world today and does not promote economic freedom.

Still, it is easier to convince people that government should be doing something for them that it currently isn’t doing than to convince them that government shouldn’t be doing something for them that it currently is.

More than 95 percent of black voters voted Democratic in the last election. I am hoping we can change this status quo. When you invest your money, you diversify. You don’t put it in one single account. Black Americans need to invest their political capital so they have a voice across the entire political spectrum. If we don’t, the black community will be taken for granted and risk becoming politically irrelevant.

A recent poll showed the percentage of black Americans who have a “strongly positive” view of Mr. Obama has slipped from 83 percent to 58 percent. Those numbers show black Americans are paying attention, and they don’t like what they see.

I grew up in inner-city Atlanta, and I can tell you the most conservative people I know are my neighbors in the black community. It isn’t just in Atlanta. Thirty-three percent of Americans in the black community self-identify as conservatives. They are anti-abortion, and they believe marriage should be between a man and a woman.

Black Americans need to vote their values in November, and they will find themselves more aligned with Mr. Romney and the Republican Party. It is time for the “Party of Lincoln” to re-connect with black America.

As the DNC begins, Ronald Reagan reminds us of the substance of the Democratic Platform! (Video)

Oh how I miss this man!  Although I love Mitt Romney, he can learn quite a bit from watching old Ronald Reagan speeches.  Reagan not only nails this one, he has the acuity to recognize the truth!   As the Democratic National Convention begins, Reagan reminds us of the substance of their platform!

I must admit I did love Romney’s delivery of Obama’s promise to ‘stop the rising oceans and heal the planet’!

Thank you Ronny and Bring it on Mitt!
